THE FACILITY
Purpose-built for aseptic fruit processing.
Atlantic Fruit Processors operates from a purpose-built processing facility in Wellington, at the heart of the Boland fruit belt in the Western Cape.
The plant houses an imported processing line with a fresh-fruit intake capacity of up to 200 tonnes per day.
THE PLANT
Built for processing. Positioned close to the fruit.
AFP's facility was purpose-built to process tomatoes, guavas, apples and pears into shelf-stable paste, purée and concentrate.
Located in Wellington, the plant sits close to the farms and orchards supplying its raw material, shortening the distance between fruit intake and processing.
One aseptic line handles multiple seasonal fruit categories, supporting near year-round utilisation of the facility.

Products carry a 24-month shelf life from the date of production.
SEASONAL PROCESSING
One facility. Multiple fruit seasons.
The Western Cape's seasonal fruit calendar allows AFP to process different raw materials across the year.
Tomatoes
Processed into 28–30° Brix and 36–38° Brix tomato paste.
Guavas
Processed into single-strength and concentrated pink guava purée.
Apples & Pears
Processed into fruit concentrate.
Running multiple seasonal categories through one aseptic processing line supports near year-round utilisation and greater continuity of supply.
