The Facility

A purpose-built processing facility in Wellington.

Atlantic Fruit Processors operates from a purpose-built facility in Wellington, Western Cape, with a fresh-fruit intake capacity of up to 200 tonnes per day. A single aseptic line runs tomatoes, guavas, apples and pears through the same seasons — near year-round utilisation, built around the fruit that grows around it.

Quality & Traceability

From orchard to drum.

Our fruit supply is closely connected to the farms and orchards around Wellington and the wider Western Cape fruit belt.

That proximity gives AFP greater visibility over where its raw material comes from and supports traceability from intake through to the finished product.

Our quality framework includes documented processes and batch-by-batch controls, with external microbiological testing contracted to an independent laboratory.

*HACCP certification in progress.

Local Supply

A shorter route to supply.

For South African manufacturers, local processing can mean shorter supply chains, simpler logistics and rand-based purchasing.

For export buyers, AFP offers bulk aseptic fruit ingredients produced in the Western Cape and packed for ambient storage and transport.

We work with manufacturers, ingredient buyers, importers and distributors looking for a reliable source of tomato paste, fruit purée and concentrate.
